Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the PeaceTyme mobile application or visiting our website (peacetyme.io), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use PeaceTyme. PeaceTyme is operated by BedTyme ("we," "our," or "us").
Description of Service
PeaceTyme is an educational mobile application that helps people understand anxiety, panic, OCD, insomnia, and chronic pain through the Natto framework. The app includes daily educational lessons, quizzes, and an AI-powered coach. PeaceTyme is designed to provide education and understanding, not therapy or medical treatment.
Not Medical Advice
PeaceTyme is an educational tool, not a medical service. The content provided through PeaceTyme — including lessons, quizzes, and AI coaching — is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. If you have bipolar disorder, a seizure disorder, or if any recommendations could cause harm, please consult with a licensed healthcare provider before proceeding.
User Accounts
To use PeaceTyme, you must create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use PeaceTyme for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content
- Use automated systems to access the service
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
- Misuse the AI coach by submitting harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
Intellectual Property
All content in PeaceTyme — including lessons, quizzes, text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of BedTyme and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. The Natto framework and related educational content are proprietary. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
AI Coach
The AI coach provides personalized guidance based on the information you provide and the Natto framework. While the coach is designed to be helpful and accurate, AI-generated responses may occasionally be imprecise or incomplete. The AI coach does not replace professional medical or psychological advice.
Subscriptions and Payments
PeaceTyme may offer subscription-based access to premium features. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings. Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policies.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to other users or to PeaceTyme. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at daniel.erichsen@bedtyme.co.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BedTyme shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of PeaceTyme. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Disclaimer of Warranties
PeaceTyme is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific results are guaranteed.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of PeaceTyme after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Oregon, United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of PeaceTyme shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
